This is the only Open Athletics Programme in Northumberland providing male and female events for Adult 17 Years and over, Youth 10 - 16 Years. To give all competitors an opportunity to succeed each entrant is given a handicap based on age and ability.

All prize money is raised from Sponsors throughout the North East.
